Brighter, Sunnier Future on the Horizon!

Didn’t February pass in the blink of an eye!? We have been super busy all month and it has helped keep the winter blue’s at bay, especially in the bleakness of lockdown. Ironically, February 1st was National Sickie Day, how many of us pulled a sickie this year? We would think most people will be glad to leave the house to go to work!

We have taken on some bespoke cleaning work this month with a project for Onward Homes taking the team to Aigburth in Liverpool, to do the sparkle cleans on a grand old building, comprising huge sash windows that required more than some elbow grease!

Our popular staff welfare cleaning service is very much in demand, with customers such as Vistry Partnerships, Stewart Milne and Countryside instructing this service.

Contracts Manager, Richard completed his Dry January challenge, raising a whopping £230 for our chosen charity, Lighthouse Club.

In addition to this, Richard attended an SMAS webinar on improving mental health in the workplace. Facilco is committed to making a difference to its team’s mental wellness and we know there has never been a more important time to invest in mental health awareness.

Customer Care Manager, Stephen, attended the Redrow North West supply chain conference to gather information on Redrow’s plans for 2021!

Builder’s cleans have taken us to Countryside’s projects in Cottam, Accrington, Ellesmere Post & Eccles. As well as Lovell Homes’ Miles Platting and Leyland developments and we have worked with Vistry Partnerships and Mulbury Homes! Kingswood Homes, Elan Homes, Bellway and Barratt have also kept us busy this month.

This February we began a new contract with Countryside on their Eccles site! Richard And Ruth also attended the pre-start meeting on our upcoming project with Vistry in Partington, this project will see us complete the builders cleans on 750 plots over the next 4 years!

We completed the final sparkle cleans for Bellway on the Willow Grange development, its always sad when a site we have worked on for a long time comes to an end, but we look forward to working with them again in the future! We also completed our contract with Bellway in Huyton!

With all the projects we are visiting, we are proud to have added a new Facilco car to the fleet!

The world said goodbye to Sir Tim Moore this month and we are sure you will agree his legacy will live on in our remembering his spirit and ability to raise ours, during the bleak pandemic months.

I’m sure like us you are looking forward to welcoming Spring this March, looking forward to warmer days and hopefully, happier and freer days.

Love,

Facilco Team x
